What did I achieve today?


Today I baked a loaf of bread. And it worked! I tastes like real bread, it is soft, it is not dense, it does not taste yeasty. I am very proud of it. Oddly enough, I did detect an odd note of garlic when I tried a slice. Perhaps I should not have roasted vegetables and garlic in the oven while it was preheating? But oh well - now to eat it! And then to make more! I have found my new obsession - for the time being at least. Now, back to work :(
